Marlene Douglas-Walsh is a seasoned executive with progressively responsible experience in healthcare services and administration. Prior to joining Friends Hospital as the Chief Compliance Officer, Marlene was Chief Executive Officer of Girard Medical Center and Assistant Vice President of Professional Services at US Health Works. Marlene has also held senior executive and director positions at several healthcare organizations in the Philadelphia area.
Marlene earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Temple University. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Health Administration from The University of St. Francis. Marlene is a member of the American Health Information Association, Southeastern PA Health Information Association, Southeastern PA Association of Quality Assurance Professionals, and is an honored lifetime member of United Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals.
