Clinical Psychology Training Programs

The Friends Hospital Predoctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association and provides an opportunity for doctoral candidates in clinical or counseling psychology to work under close supervision in an inpatient psychiatric setting that is committed to the principles of recovery, trauma-informed care, and high quality service. The internship program employs a practitioner-scholar model of training and is grounded in cognitive and behavioral therapy, with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment.

The Internship in Clinical Psychology has been fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) since 1979; the Internship will be up for re-accreditation in the year 2021. The Internship is a member in good standing of the Association of Psychology Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Internship Centers (APPIC). Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship

Friends Hospital will be accepting one full-time clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow for the 2018-2019 academic year. The start date will be July 23rd, 2018. The application deadline is February 1st, 2018. Applicants need to email or mail a letter of interest, CV, 2 letters of recommendation, an official transcript from the doctoral program, and a de-identified sample assessment report to:
