May 18th – Friends Hospital is partnering with Northeast Community Center for Behavioral Health to provide free mental health screenings. Volunteers & Clinicians will be on hand from 1p-4p directly inside the Adams Avenue entrance. The goal of this initiative is to get people to be proactive about helping themselves or a loved one, because we believe that regular mental health checkups are just as important as regular physical health checkups. The screenings are not diagnostic, but are meant to provide a sense of whether or not someone may want to seek further evaluation.
